Table games on Winnerz
Table games may be luck-based games most of the time, but some of them can use a bit of strategy too. This is still the case even when you play live casino games with Winnerz. These games are streamed live from a studio and you get to interact directly with the dealer and other players while the game goes on.
If you are tired of playing online slot games, you can always head onto the high-quality table games Winnerz’ partners have on offer. With human elements incorporated into each game, you can be sure each round is as clean as it gets.
Winnerz has lots of table games for you to enjoy due to its partnerships with popular brands such as Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play. Why don’t you start with these games:
Lightning Baccarat by Evolution Gaming
Lightning Baccarat is one of the first table games by Evolution Gaming that uses the Lightning multiplier which activates before the game starts. It has a random number generator (RNG) that selects five cards from the deck which can multiply your winnings by 2, 3, 4, 5, or 8 if you make the right bet.
If you aren’t familiar with baccarat yet, Winnerz is here to help you out. In baccarat, you make one of three bets: the player’s hand, the banker’s hand, or a tie. If the card total of your bet is 9 or any value close to it, you win.
A round of baccarat starts by placing a bet, then the dealer hands out two face-up cards on both player and banker’s hands. If the total exceeds 9, only its last digit is counted as the total. Subsequently, 10s and face cards are valued as 0.
A third card is dealt if neither the player nor the banker’s hand reaches a total of 8 or 9. The player’s hand gets dealt first.
If the player’s card total is 6 or 7, no third card will likely be dealt since it is still close to 9. A card total from 0 to 5 warrants a third card unless the banker’s hand already reached a total of 8 or 9. In that case, the player loses.
On the other hand, the banker has more specific rules to follow regarding the third card. This third card is dealt if:
- the player’s third card leads to a total of 6 or 7 while the banker’s card total is 6;
- the player’s third card ranges from 4 to 7 while the banker’s hand total is 5;
- the player’s third card ranges from 2 to 7 while the banker’s hand total is 4;
- the player’s third card ranges from 0 to 7 while the banker’s hand total is 3; or
- the banker’s hand total ranges from 0 to 2 unless the player already has a winning hand.
Since the rules of baccarat are quite simple, the strategies for this game are straightforward. The first thing you have to keep in mind when playing baccarat is to avoid betting on a tie. Also, try to bet on the banker’s hand as much as possible since it only has a 44.65% chance of losing.
Blackjack by Pragmatic Play
Pragmatic Play’s Blackjack is played by up to seven players and uses eight decks. The objective of blackjack is to beat the dealer by having your hand reach a total of 21 or as close to it as possible. If the total exceeds 21, you lose the round (also known as ‘bust’).
In this game, numbered cards are valued as is while face cards are valued as 10. Aces, meanwhile, can be counted as 1 or 11, depending on the owner of the card.
The game starts with each player being dealt two face-down cards before the dealer keeps a pair for themselves. If a player reaches a total of 21 just from those two cards, it is called a ‘natural’ or a ‘blackjack’ and they automatically win the round.
Depending on the hand total of each player, they may choose to hit or stand. Hitting means asking for an additional card until they reach their desired total. Standing means they are content with the total they have and are ready to play their hand. There is also the option to surrender if a player thinks they can’t beat the dealer’s total.
Additional actions can be done for a player’s first two cards:
- Doubling down means doubling the bet before an additional face-down card is given. This is usually done if the player’s hand total is 9, 10, or 11.
- Splitting means playing two separate hands if a player gets a pair of cards of the same value. Of course, the player has to place a separate bet for the
- new hand before additional cards are dealt.
Pragmatic Play’s Blackjack has special rules on its betting rounds:
- Players cannot double down once their hand is split.
- Only pairs can be split.
- Players can only hit once if they split a pair of aces.
- The dealer stands if their hand reaches a total of 17.
Several blackjack tips include splitting a pair of aces or 8s. Never split a pair of 10s and always stand when your total reaches 17. Also, always hit when your hand total is 8. Other than those, focus on your hand and take calculated risks so you won’t bust.
Casino Hold’em by Evolution Gaming
Casino Hold’em is a variation of Texas hold 'em played frequently in land-based and online casinos. The only difference is that this game pits players against the dealer and not against themselves.
The objective of the game is to have a better hand ranking than the dealer using the two cards from your hand and three out of the five community cards from the board. There are 10 hand rankings in Casino Hold’em, and it would be easier for you if Winnerz gives you examples of each:
- Royal straight flush (A, K, Q, J, and 10 all in the same suit)
- Straight flush (6, 5, 4, 3, and 2 all in the same suit)
- Four-of-a-kind (Four Qs and a 7)
- Full house (three 7s and two 9s)
- Flush (any five cards from one suit)
- Straight (10, 9, 8, 7, and 6 in any suit)
- Three-of-a-kind (three 10s, A, and 2)
- Two pair (two Ks, two 4s, and a Q)
- One pair (two 7s, 2, J, and A)
- High card (A, J, 7, 5, and 2)
The game starts with the dealer giving each player two cards each. Players then have several betting options before each card on the board is revealed:
- Calling means a player matches the bet placed by the previous player.
- Raising means a player surpasses the bet placed by the previous player.
- Folding means a player surrenders their hand.
After the first betting phase, three cards are revealed on the board. Then, another round of betting commences before the fourth community card is revealed. The final betting phase is done before the fifth community card is revealed. Again, each player only needs to surpass the dealer’s hand ranking to win.
If you are new to Casino Hold’em, Winnerz has several tips that can help you. These are:
- Call any pair, flush, ace-high, or king-high
- Be careful when calling a queen-high. Take a look if the community cards are of the same value before calling.
- Fold if most of your hand consists of low-value cards.
- Fold when there is a pair on the community cards while the cards on your hands have a different suit.
Three Cards Poker by Evolution Gaming
Three Cards Poker is another poker variation where players go against the dealer instead of against each other. As the name suggests, you will only have to use three cards to create the best possible hand ranking. There are no community cards in this game.
Since you will only be using three cards, this game only has six hand rankings:
- Straight flush
- Three-of-a-kind
- Straight
- Flush
- Pair
- High card
If you and the dealer have the same hand ranking, the winner will be determined by whoever has the highest card value.
One of the best tips while playing Three Cards Poker is to keep an eye on your highest-valued card. Other strategies include:
- Always bet if your high card is an A or a K.
- If your highest card is a Q, meanwhile, make sure your second card is 7 or higher.
- If your highest card is a J, fold.
Caribbean Stud Poker by Evolution Gaming
Released in 2015, Evolution Gaming’s Caribbean Stud Poker is the first live casino version of this poker variation. This table game allows players to win bonus money by forming at least a three-of-a-kind, increasing the stakes by up to 1000 times.
Caribbean Stud Poker is played similar to Three Cards Poker. The only difference is that each player's hand only has a total of five cards.
The objective remains the same: beat the dealer’s hand ranking by using the five cards you are dealt. The hand ranking system is the same as other poker variations (except Three Cards Poker) and the dealer reveals one of their cards to help the players decide whether to play or fold.
Some of the most common strategies for this game include the following:
- If the dealer’s face-up card turns out to be an A or a K and you do not have any cards that can form a hand ranking that can beat it, forfeit the round.
- If you have a pair or a higher hand ranking, play your hand.
- If the dealer’s face-up card ranges from 2 to Q and matches one of your cards, play your hand.
Roulette by Pragmatic Play
Pragmatic Play has brought a casino staple with this online edition of roulette. In this game, punters will wager on where the ball will land after the roulette is spun. There are lots of betting options available in roulette, and they can be seen on the betting table:
- red/black
- odd/even
- high/low
- dozens
- street
- straight up
- corner
- line
The most common strategy when playing roulette is to keep watch on how many betting options you put your money in. Also, try not to look for patterns in winning numbers. Roulette is purely luck-based and the betting options are the only aspects of the game under your control.
Craps Live by Evolution Gaming
To play this game, all you have to do is to place a bet on what you think will be the total of a two-dice roll. Each player is allowed to roll the dice as many times as they can until they land a total of 7. Once this happens, the next player gets to roll.
There are several betting options on the craps table for non-rolling players, namely:
- pass/no pass
- come/don’t come
- place bet
- hardway
Since craps is also a luck-based game, your winning strategy relies on how well you explore your betting options. Place low bets and take a break if things aren’t going well after a while. Craps Live has an intuitive interface where beginners can ask for help or guidance during the game.
Bac Bo by Evolution Gaming
Bac Bo is Evolution Gaming’s unique twist to baccarat. Instead of playing cards, two dice are used. Also, the limit of 9 no longer applies in this game. This simply means that the highest possible score you can get is 12. In this game, the Player’s hand gets to roll before the Banker.
Since Bac Bo has a limited number of random results for both the Player and the Banker, the strategy for this game is to either alternate your bets between the two hands or just place your money on one hand all the time. Whichever technique you choose, make sure you keep track of your budget.
